Pianist and composer Marie Huou always tries to find melodies that touch. Melancholic, nostalgic or full of hope, her neoclassical universe lets everyone appropriate their own emotions.

Following a major life change, the freedom-loving artist from Nantes acquired a small music studio in 2021, in the midst of the nature that inspires her so much, in order to devote herself to composition. She picked up the piano basics she had studied as a child, learned computer-assisted music techniques, and let classical and electronic music merge to transfer her emotions in her own way. Inner feelings intermingle, just as violins, cellos, drum beats and electro layers mingle with the piano, an instrument that is regularly at the heart of her compositions and to which she sometimes likes to leave all the space.

The images join the music in clips worked alone, always inspired by feelings. What she appreciates most of all is the unlimited power of music to tell stories, to share with others, to unite and bring together, far from any straightjacket. She is currently working on her first EP.
